I have always wanted to win the lottery - but who doesn't!! Lately though my wish to win is more for others than for myself. Sure I would make sure to keep enough to make our lives more comfortable but more and more I am seeing this economy really start to hit people harder than I have seen before. We have been okay so far (knock on wood) but that is probably because I have always been a frugal person(some in my family call me cheap) and not really into a lot of material things or worrying about trying to "keep up with the Joneses".
We have also been through some trying financial times in the past too so I have learned to try to live within a budget it isn't always easy. Some laugh at me when I try to find a coupon for everything but every penny helps. Sure there are many things I wish we could have but we are all healthy and have a roof over our heads so I am thankful for that.
My goal right now is to pay off our credit cards and be able to pay cash for everything. Slowly but surely we are getting there. Baby steps - Baby steps.
